In the meanwhile, on the geopolitical front, the 49-year-old Ukrainian man, Serhii Kuznietsov, arrived in Germany two days ago, after Italy's highest court approved his extradition later last week. That man is suspected of setting off explosions that damaged the EU Nord Steam pipelines in 2022. I clearly know that a very small number of blogging friends don't like such news, as they have been shaped to believe that Ukrainians can never be guilty parties. But we are talking about a German criminal court, not a Belarusian or Russian one. Not to mention that EU, UK and US' newspapers don't highlight this news as it should.
Have a nice weekend 🍁

Hi Giorgio!
ReplyDeleteMy comment today will be short because I'm very nervous and sad – some idiot, a degenerate, killed another defenseless animal on my street, left it on the road, and didn't help! This piece of trash (I won't call him a human!) not only showed a complete lack of empathy, but he broke the law against failing to help an animal!!! Unfortunately, this happened four houses down from me.
Giorgio, speaking of NS, in my opinion, the person who blew it up did ok.
Speaking of the USA, I'm furious because I haven't been able to send a larger package to the USA for weeks!!!
Giorgio, I wish you a good weekend!
Such idiot people!
DeleteBuon fine settimana Giorgio!
ReplyDelete...Trump is imbecile.
ReplyDeleteOn the one side, an imbecile President. On the other side, a former President suffering from dementia. Easy to understand they both are billionaires' puppets.
DeleteI believe that there are criminals in every government. There are those individuals who are so corrupt and grandiose that they think they will never get caught. Of course it makes it hard on the people of the country. As far as my country goes, we are so screwed here. If the "thing" in the white house has collected all this tariff money, he is not using it to better the country or the lives of the US people. Thank you and have a great weekend Giorgio.
ReplyDeleteRight, he must use tariff money to help poor people.
DeleteUy Trump a todo le pone arancel. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteComplex news all around, but your balanced perspective is refreshing, and I hope you enjoy a peaceful weekend too
ReplyDeleteTrue, complex news.
DeleteGiorgio, two Ukrainians blew up a railway in Poland, but they weren't blamed; Russia was. Everyone in the EU loves Ukrainians.
ReplyDeleteMost people don't understand what's going on.
DeleteWell let's hope 'He' doesn't increase tariffs. One minutes he does increase and the next thing he decreases - seems he can not always make up his mind - maybe he tests the waters, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteDidn't hear about the latter matter until now.
Take care, enjoy your red :)
Thank you, Margaret.
DeleteIt's definitely good news for everyone who enjoys great food and drink that the EU is pushing to shield Italian goods like pasta, cheese, wine, and olive oil from higher tariffs. Hopefully, the Irish whiskey distilleries get the relief they need, too. Those tariffs really do squeeze businesses and consumers, even if they pad government revenue. You've got the right idea for the cold weather: a perfect day for a warming glass of red wine.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind a glass of red wine, once a week :-) 🌰🍷
DeleteEnjoy your glass of red wine.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed a glass of white wine with my Roast Chicken dinner :)
I wish you and your family a happy and peaceful new month of December.
All the best Jan
Thank you, Jan. I wish a lovely onth of December to you too.
DeleteWhite wine is perfect with the tasty white meat of the Chicken.
It’s interesting to hear that the EU wants to protect Italy’s wine, cheese, pasta, and olive oil from higher U.S. tariffs — that must be important for businesses. I also found the news about the Ukrainian man in Germany surprising.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, cold weather like this really does make a glass of red wine feel extra cozy! 🍷❄
I don't drink alcohol. Trump is nuts with all his silly tariffs!
