Black sheep

A dear friend of mine has just sent me the picture below. But I haven't understood if it is related to the pandemic (and its vaccine's moral obbligation) or the energy crisis. Otherwise, the picture may also be related to the ongoing war that began in late February close to EU borders. Does the Ukraine-Russia war become a never ending war? ... as we've already seen in Syria, Libya, Yemen, etc.

Meanwhile, people who rule the world are trying to trigger another war on the Pacific front (East Asia) ... $ 1,100 Billion missiles will be shipped to the island of Taiwan as soon as possible.

1 in every 246 vaccinated people

An article published early this month by https://expose-news.com/ revealed that 1 in every 246 vaccinated people in the UK died within 60 days of Covid-19 vaccination. According to the UK's Office for National Statistics, 9 in every 10 Covid-10 deaths were among the vaccinated population. The article also shows that in April and May 2022 90% of Covid-19 deaths were among the triple vaccinated people. 

Data above mentioned, with regards to deaths in England by vaccination status, were published in early July while Boris Johnson was resigning as Prime Minister of the UK.

This shows us that the "bought and well paid" mainstream media had been helping Western politicians to justify pharma multinationals' earnings and restictions in the name of Covid-19. It gives us once again a beautiful example of how we have been lied since the very beginning of the alleged Covid-19 pandemic.

Restaurant on the bank of the major river in Thailand

Since 2020 a restaurant on the bank of the Chao Phraya river near Bangkok, Thailand, have had big problems because of Covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, more problems have come when water in the river started to rise in 2021.

The owner of the restaurant wanted to close, but he decided to wait. So the restaurant stayed open, and customers enjoyed dining while the river washed their feet. People shared funny videos on social media, which probably saved the restaurant. More people wanted to visit the place and enjoy its special atmosphere.

It seemed that the floods would destroy the business, but they made it grow again.  

The food in the pictures above above is not typical of Thailand. A friend of mine made the two pictures at a restaurant in China, Jiangsu province. He went there for job four years ago.

Land of the free

In November 2021 Angelique Coetzee, a South African Doctor, discovered the Omicron Covid-19 strain. She said that same European governments pressured her not to reveal publicly that Omicron was a mild illness. They asked her to say that it was a serious illness. She declined! Dr. Angelique Coetzee answered: "In South Africa Omicron is a mild illness, but in Europe it is a very serious one. That's what your politicians wanted to hear".

Never has there been a time that each and every one of us must let our voices be heard to defend our right to freedom. It's easy to see that many governments around the world are threatening with a complete disregard of laws and constitutional principles. Why are those governments forcing people to sign a piece of paper where it is written down in black and white that they didn't force them? People will not and should not undergo passively this abuse. Why are they using the tools of cowards? Those are the exact same methods of the organized crime: "pay or we burn down your home". It is called extortion!

Some people have doubt! I think people have an entitlement and freedom of choice, without bullying and harassment, blackmail, and threatening to take the job away. Not to mention of social life. Many people say no to the discrimination towards those of us who wants their free choice of not being vaccinated.

France, US, Italy, Greece, Austria, Luxembourg, etc. ... that's the land of the free. Land of the free!

Vaccine coercion activists

 

It is interesting what the French virologist, 2008 Nobel Prize Luc Montagnier, said when he was in Italy later last month. He said powerful and shocking things that it will be difficult for the propaganda to continuing to lie. The Nobel laureate did not say vaccine would kill people in two years. Luc Montaigner said the vaccine is "creating the variants". 

There is evidence that vaccine coercition activists are using the fake statement attribuited to Luc Montaigner and other scientists to discredit their valid scientific observations about the vaccine being the root cause of the variants. In this context, the problem is that many people lose their critical thinking due to the fact that fake statements continue to spread.

It is also interesting how many politicians, mainly in Western countries, say the same thing: "we are going to make unvaccinated life miserable". It is easy to see just that they have the same idea and even the same phrases.

Welcome to the new inequality!

Less than one month ago W.H.O. Chief, dr. Tedros Adhranom Ghebreyesus, said: 

"Every day there are six times more boosters administered globally than primary doses in low-income countries. This is a scandal that must stop now". Dr. Tedros reiterated that only immunocompromised people should be administered booster doses. According to reports, more than 36 countries are currently administering booster doses.

"It make no sense to give boosters to healthy adults or to vaccinate children when older people and other high-risk groups are still waiting for their first dose." The exception, as Dr. Tedros said, are immunocompromised individuals who are unable to fight infections. 

People who represent one third of world population are still waiting for their first dose.

Fourth COVID vaccine inoculation

One week ago I took the picture above while I was walking through the Naples' main street (Toledo street, that's its name). The picture shows that while Italian people were wearing masks in a respectful way, three black men on the right didn't do the same. As you can see, they were laughing and didn't take seriously Italian behaviour and Italian rules in terms wearing a mask and respecting social distancing. I hope all members of the blogging community will understand that my previous sentence, just above mentioned, has nothing to do with racism. It shows that buying and inoculating vaccines is the main interest of the majority of Italian politicians. They are not interested in the sanctioning system. Not to mention of monoclonal antibodies.

While people who live in Denmark, Israel, and Chile are already getting the fourth inoculation of the COVID vaccine, it seems that policy-makers of the main European countries will do the same early next month. 

According to the director of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), Emer Cook, there are two concerns in the practice in which we inoculate vaccine doses every four months approximately, as we may have problem with the immune response. So we should be careful in not overloading the immune system with repeated immunizations.

Reimposed restrictions

 

While Omicron variant was reaching almost 90 countries last month, some European countries reimposed restrictions and lockdown measures. Despite the virus is still spreading across the world, stocks and commodities have increased their value. I don't know whether to be scared or oddly comforted by that.

Experts say as soon as the epidemic goes to an end, many sectors of the EU economy, such as fashion, machinery and motoryachts, will rise sharply.  

I hope gas and oil's prices will not boost in 2022, as it may be dangerous in terms of employment and inflaction rate.

Omicron

Just to say that yesterday, the 26th of November, while the news about the big concern (as mentioned by the WHO) of the South African variant and its multiple mutations was spreading across the world, the stocks of one of the biggest biotechnological company, Moderna Inc, were rising by more than 20% .

In this context, the Botswana government has just officialy said that the new COVID variant, named Omicron, was first detected in four patients who were fully vaccinated for COVID.

From the Nuremberg trial (1945) Hermann Goering to the question "How did you convince the German people to accept all this?", he replied: "It was easy and has nothing to do with Nazism. The only thing a government needs to turn people into slaves is fear. If you can find something to scare them, you can make them do anything you want".

Pharma companies' abusive vaccine deals

The world's largest pharmaceutical company, which is in talk with about 100 countries around the world, will be delivering 2 billion vaccine doses this year. But a lot of people don't know that the company ask some countries in South America to create a guarantee found. 

When the Covid-19 epidemic began to spread across the Northern hemisphere in early 2020, the CEO of the world's largest pharma company hypocritically said: "We believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard and cared for. That's why from the very beginning our vaccine development program, our company has been firmly committed to working towards equitable and affordable access of Covid-19 vaccines for people around the world".

According to the pharma companies' deals, Brazil and other countries have to take in consideration delay in vaccine delivery. It means that the Brazilian government can not penalise pharmaceutical companies for delayed delivery. 

In addition to this, manufacturer of pharmaceuticals will be exempted from all civil liability. The company also wants sovereign assets as guarantee, such as military bases, embassy buildings and sovereign founds. In other words, a vaccine maker asks for a country's military basis in return of vaccines.

While EU, Chinese and Indian pharmaceutical companies are selling free vaccines to poorer countries, there are big vaccine makers which are bullying countries. Not to mention of someone who refuses to sell vaccine raw materials and says no to sharing vaccine formulas to developing countries.

Meanwhile, while Covid-19 cases were increasing in the EU, Austria's government announced strict lockdown measures. There are fears other EU countries might do the same. It's easy to see that current vaccines may not be the ideal match for new variants, although pharmaceutical and biotech stocks have been rising on the markets.

Italian Constitution: fundamental principles don't exist any more

From the 15th of October we (Italians) can no longer work without a vaccine passport. The fundamental human right to work stripped away. Silence from our government, silence from all governments and silence from Amnesty. 

With regards to my previous post, this is the comment sent from an anonymous blogger:

"I think some of you are delusional. Clearly the covid certificate is a nazy style papers please kind of fascist ideology".

Constitutional clashes on the EU's green pass

Everything surronding Covid-19 has become politicized since many EU countries use the Digital Covid Certificate to grant or deny access to nightlife venues, restaurants, cafees, and other public spaces.  The vaccine passport has become a condition for every day life also in Italy, although most Italian people are still observing social distancing rules perfectly. Italian people are also wearing masks everywhere.

According to many researches, people who have been vaccinated or previously infected with the Covid-19 are able to catch and spread the virus. That's the main reason why last month Spain's Supreme Court ruled against using vaccine passport to restrict access to public spaces. It's the first judicial authority to do so in Europe, as using vaccine passport to prevent access to public spaces may not be useful to prevent the spreading of the infection. In this perspective, it seems that Italian policy makers still pretend to misunderstand the EU principles of effectiveness, necessity and proportionality.  

In many EU countries people who haven't a green pass are banned from public spaces, basic freedoms and services, although it is already clear that there is no difference between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated with regards to the Delta variant. In this context, it's easy to see that pharmaceutical and health product companies are spending billions on lobbying politicians around the world. At the moment, in Spain it is not the case. 

In Italy, the protests against the Covid health pass have now been going for 10 weeks.

Surplus vaccine doses

The COVID-19 pandemic has made clear global inequality of our time, as only two percent of people who live in the African continent has been fully vaccinated.

According to Airinfinity Ltd, a science information company headquartered in London, western developed countries could have 1.2 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses by the end of this year. As a matter of fact, surplus COVID-19 vaccine shots in US, UK, EU and Japan will not be shipped to poorer countries.

As said by the WTO spokeperson, Keith Rockwell, if we were to delocalise part of vaccine production in developing countries, more shots would go into arms in Africa and Andean countries. Not mention of Israeli data which shows vaccinated people are becoming ill with COVID-19, but that's another story. 

Low-taxes havens

As it is known, after many governments around the world had declared a state of emergency, citizens were encouraged to stay at home. As a consequence, since March 2020 an increasing number of people have been buying what they need online. And it seems unavoidable that many stores will permanently shut down. Unfortunately, the more big tech companies sell their products and services online, the more retailers shut down their businesses. The picture below shows an old shop whose owner had been selling olive oil and wine for decades. Since early march 2020 it has been shut down. 

The main problem is that big tech companies, such as Amazon and Google, shift their profits to low-taxes havens. And countries where revenues are earned haven't been allowed to tax big tech multinationals. That's why big tech companies can be very competitive and so able to destroy retailers around the world. In other words, they're destroying the middle class slowly and gradually.

In this perspective, two days ago in Venice, finance chiefs of the G20 large economies have just endorsed the first step of a plan to stop multinationals shifting profits to low-taxes havens. The deal would establish a global minimum corporate tax of at least 15%, as big tech companies would be taxed on where they sell products and services, rather than on the location of their headquarters.  

Fourth wave or false information

Since late June there has been a great deal of talk about a fourth wave of coronavirus. Many countries, such as France, Italy, and Ireland are likey to have a fourth wave of the COVID-19 virus, as the new variant begins to take hold. It seems that the rapidly transmissible strains were first identified in India, where government imposed restrictions.

Unfortunately, these bad news have a big impact on people's mental health, not to mention of false information, which are important in manipulating public opinion and creating an atmophere of uncertainty.

Menanwhile, many people in the EU would like to enjoy beaches, coffees, and restaurants, although governments have painted a bleak picture of the Summer ahead.

Growing list of countries to suspend the Anglo-Swedish vaccine

On Tuesday, 30th March, Germany became the latest in a growing list of countries to suspend use of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine to younger age group. Health Ministry had found 31 cases of a type of rare blood clot among nearly 2.7 million people who received the vaccine in Germany. 

Obviously, the European Medicines Agency said there was not enough evidence to establish a link between the problem and the vaccine.

Meanwhile, trees blooming and flowering announce the beginning of Spring and new life. 

EU digital certificate

In 2020 bosses of the top EU companies had weekly earned the same amount that an average worker in Europe earns in an entire year.  And according to the Economic Policy Institute, despite the spreading of Covid-19 epidemic, chief executives of the 350 largest US companies earned an average of $ 20 million in 2020. In other words, there are evidence that top bosses continue to earn high salaries while coronavirus pandemic is exposing low-income populations to job losses and health risks. 

The executive's price-driven salaries began in the early 1980s, when CEOs pay become connected with share prices (companies' share prices on stock markets). The problem is that sometimes an excellent company has nothing to do with the CEO. Not to mention of companies that operate in an oligopoly, as we can see nowadays in the emerging vaccine industry. 

While people at the top are maintaining their wealth and society is suffering higher levels of inequality, the EU unveils plan for Covid-19 digital pass to allow travel  within member states with the aim of helping entrepreneurs and workers who are involved in travel industry and tourism. 

The digital pass is expected to consist of QR code that can easily be scanned at airports, as it will be in digital or paper format. On the one hand, some EU states say the digital pass discriminates people who didn't receive the injection to prevent Covid-19 illness. On the other hand, EU Commission says the certificate is not discriminatory and would be suspended after pandemic ends.

A small wave of optimism

On the economic front, many experts can see a wave of optimism, as vaccination programmes progress and expectations of large stimulus by US President Joe Biden are driving global markets near record highs.

Meanwhile, in my country former European Central Bank President, Mario Draghi, is tapped for Prime Minister role, in bid to avoid early elections. Hope he will probably lead the country out of the political crisis.

The top 10 percent always do well out of a crisis

Two weeks ago, a dear member of our blogging community wrote down her point of view about the spreading of covid-19 in terms of economic damages. Her thoughts reminds me that this epidemic crisis hasn't been affecting people who constistute the "upper class" (the top 10 percent of World population). She wrote: "rich people always do well out of a crisis".

As mentioned in my post on January 12, lockdown and curfew measures hit mainly retailers and people who run gyms, restaurants and cafés. Differently, the two world wars hit both rich and poor people. Actually, real estate value and stocks fell to low level in the period 1914-1945, because there were expropriations and physical destruction of capital, such as buildings, factories, and infrastructures. In addition, during a period of high inflaction, as we saw in the early 1920s and late 1940s, housing became less expensive for tenants, while landlords earned less on their properties, so real estate value fell.

Nowadays, businesses of many middle class people, who run clothes shops, gyms and restaurants, have decreased sharply because of lockdown measures. To sum up, many people have lost their job because of the spreading of epidemic, but rents and the rate of return on capital is always the same.

Unfortunately, the author of the brief comment above mentioned is right. From a socio-econimic perspective, the 2020/2021 pandemic has been affecting only the lower class and the main part of the middle class. 

The more epidemic spreads, the more people need unemployment benefits

We all want to be rid of the coronavirus, of course, although EU's media are still talking about a third wave. Furthermore, another partial lockdown may continue to destroy small businesses, such as restaurants, cafés, clothes retailers, and other small businesses, while Wall Street’s analysts are still busy finding the stocks that are primed for gains in the next 12 months. As a matter of fact, since April 2020 we have already seen a sharply rise of some companies listed on the stock market, such as of pharmaceutical, electrical car makers, and biotech. 

In this cloudy perspective, there is a great talk about rising tax with the aim of increasing public services and unemployment benefits, considering that since March 2020 many people have been loosing their job. Some countries in Northern Europe, such as Sweden, Iceland, and Denmark, are known as having a high standard of living and social security, which their taxes help to pay for. Those countries  have a progressive tax system, meaning that people with a higher income pay a higher percentage of taxes than people with a lower income. Therefore, a large proportion of tax money goes into education, health care, parental support, unemployment benefits, etc.   

The good thing is that people who live in those countries don't even think about how much taxes they pay, because they say their tax system works very well. Clearly, those resources are going to be used by everyone in the population. On the contrary, cut taxes measures could have an impact on the society, as most people trust the public sector is able to do good things with their money.
