Just to show those flocks of beautiful swans, ducks and other birds that were spot in Stockolm early this month.
Those marvelous creatures were enjoying water in the coldest part of winter in the Northern side of Europe.

❄ 🦢 🇸🇪
With regards to another Northern country of the world touching the Arctic Circle, I appreciate the Canadian president, Mark Carney, for sharing his thoughts at Davos, Switzerland, last week. He said publicy that "In a world of great power rivalry, the countries in between have a choice: compete with each other for favour, or to combine to create third path".
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I especially like the third one.
Glad to hear you enjoyed them, Andrea :-)
DeleteThese are great photos. I love seeing these birds with the ducks and geese too :-D Your friend took great photos Giorgio :-D
ReplyDeleteAt this moment in time there will never be unity or peace. I wonder what would happen if other beings attacked our planet - would countries unite to protect Earth? The Universe is such a vast place there surely must be intelligent beings out there? I used to think it was us Humans, but no we are not intelligent beings!!! Not with the way of the world just now!
Hope you are having a good weekend Giorgio :-D
Thank you, Ananka. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about human intelligence.
DeleteThanks for sharing the waterfowl. They are hardy birds.
ReplyDelete...they have their down swimsuits on!
ReplyDeleteTrue, they don't suffer from the cold water.
DeleteSwans are very beautiful birds! It's great that they have the opportunity to swim in the vast waters of Sweden.
ReplyDeleteThey are graceful water birds. Maybe they belong to the same family as ducks and geese 🦢🦢🦢🦆🦆🦆
DeleteUy que lindos. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThese photos capture a beautiful stillness.
ReplyDeleteIt’s remarkable how these birds remain graceful and composed even in the coldest season.
A lovely glimpse of winter life in Sweden, Giorgio.
So many beautiful white swans. I don't think I have ever seen so many together. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWe can see those marvelous creatures mostly in Northern Europe. I saw many swans in Germany's lakes.
DeleteHave a lovely month of February, Margaret.
I was curious to know what kind of swans they were so used the Merlin app to ID them. It appears they are Mute Swans and oh they are beautiful. We have Trumpeter Swans that come here for the winter months.
ReplyDeleteHello Alexandra.
DeleteI appreciate you sharing information about this species of swan It is native to much of Europe and parts of Asia.
Greetings
