I would like to share a news I've just heard from an East Asia's daily newpaper: former Bank of China's chairman, Liu Liange , was just sentenced to death. He was found to have issued illegal loans and accepted bribes worth around $ 16.7 million.
In same Western countries he would have been given a top ranking government position.

...Amen brother.
ReplyDeleteThat's a penal system different from ours.
DeleteHe is just the scapegoat I guess
ReplyDeleteIt's probably the case.
DeleteI think this punishment is fair!
ReplyDeleteTrue. But other people helped him steal the funds that China's government collects from taxpayers .
DeleteWow, a rigorous judgement.
ReplyDeleteGoodness!
ReplyDeleteHe must have had help from others ...surely?
All the best Jan
