It easy to see that as soon as the FIFA World Cup goes to an end, Washington begins to strike Iran once again.
The aim of this blog is to try to highlight some challenges facing the world, such as crowded megacities, poor living conditions, water shortages, dangerous waste disposal, and arrogant powers behind warmongering. I am interested in sharing opionions and reading your comments.

Strike on Iran again

They are only protecting their oil and gas
Sorry to hear that some EU countries are still offering military bases to US killing machine. As it's known, Spain and Britain condemn the attack to Iran as illegal under international law, while Germany has chosen to support US & Israel.
Most surprisingly, a few EU countries are also supporting Israel's chemical warfare, that poisoned the air of Teheran with toxic fire and black rain that will cause cancer for decades in a city of 10 million people.
I've also noticed that EU journalists don't mention that a US Tomahawk missile hit an elementary school in Teheran, killing 167 victims in that school. In addition, Western journalists don't write that US & Israel bombs have been damaging Iran's century-old cultural heritage since March, 1st.

Shared interests rather than vassalage
Huge congrats to the British prime minister, Keir Starmer, who blocked the US military from using critical strategic assets.
For the first time in modern history a British prime minister denied the US permission to launch offensive strikes from Royal Air Force Fairford in Gloucestershire and sovereign base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
Starmer mentioned the catastrophic mistake in Iraq and the 2003 US misadventure drive by faulty intelligence regarding weapons of mass destruction. He underlined that the UK would not participate in regime change in Iran from the sky without a clear lawful mandate.

Uranium enrichment is just a pretext to exert pressure
This is the second time in less than nine months that diplomacy was betrayed by both US and Israel. Iranian and American diplomats were supposed to meet on Monday, March 2nd, to talk about any possible deal on nuclear issue. And Americans knew that these negotiations went quite well. This is a betrayal of the whole UN system.
The above photo shows the T-shirt I'm wearing today. On the T-shirt it says: "Smiling even when in trouble".
I think the whole world, from China to the EU and from Russia to India must balance Washington's arrogance. Whatever it takes.

Globar war
I wanted to share this map that was published by the Italian newpaper "Corriere della sera" on the 18th January, 2026. People and journalists often speak about the so called risk of third world war. It is not the case, as there is already a global war.

New China-Iran corridor
On the 25th of May, 2025, the first freigh train from Xi'an, tha capital of the Chinese province of Shaanxi, arrived at Aprin inland port, Iran. The new China-Iran railroad stretches approximately ten thousand four hundred kilometers, traversing kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
This integrated chain of connected railways allows the opportunity to transport oil and cargo containers on steel wheels across the Eurasian continent instead of unsafe maritime routes. In addition, the new railway also binds China and Iran closer togheter. In geopolitical terms, Iran will not be cut off from global markets. It is not a coincidence the fact that China purchases 77 percent of Iran crude oil export.
Global geopolitical dynamics will be reshaped by this transcontinental railway, due to the fact that it gives Iran a mechanism to reduce dependence on volatile sea lanes in the Persian Gulf and its strait of Hormuz. In other words, the two Asian countries can cooperate to construct an alternative system, one less dependent on Western powers. Actually, for the Unites States and its satellites, this railway can tilt the balance of power, as it is perceived as more than just a trade route. It's a challenge to America's currency influence over global finance. China has begun shifting major trade deals with partners such as Iran, Russia and Central Asia countries, thereby avoiding the global dollar system. Actually, since 2012 China has been buying Iranian oil mostly in Yuan Renminbi.
China can forge partnership outside traditional Western systems, thank to this new transcontinental railway. It shifts the balance of power, as countries that once relied on United States controlled routes now face a parallel network China can influence directly. Countires like Iran, Central Asia states and even Russia now have options.
The China-Iran railway demonstrates that infrastructure is more than engineering. It's a tool of geopolitics, economics and strategy, that challenges established systems.
New trade routes redefine global politics.
On the Greenland front, I'd like to write just a few words about Trump's ridiculous speeches on phantom Russian submarines sailing under Denmark's territorial waters or through the Artic sea. It is fair to say that it would be normal to spot warships and submarines of countries bordering the Artic sea, such as Russia, Norway or Canada.
Happy to see Europe taking Trump's stupid threats seriously, before it is too late. In addition, there are apparently already troops in Greenland from Canada, who are there for an annual exercise they do there 🇩🇰 🇬🇱 🇨🇦 🇪🇺

Hegemonic behaviour
On the 3rd of January, 2026, Venezuela president Maduro was removed from power and replaced by a regime compliant to United States demands.
Nobody asks why Chinese or Russian warships weren't there, close to the numerous Venezuela's Caribbean island and archipelagos. If Russians were to kidnap Moldova's president, United States soldiers, tanks and missiles would be deployed close to the Moldovan border in less than 24 hours. A 5th grade boy/girl would understand this point.
Otherwise, it is also likely that Russia traded Venezuela to get more, from the president of the United States, at the Ukraine-Russia negotiating table. But we have no evidence about such secret agreement between Washington and Moscow.

U.S. tariffs on EU's wine & spirits
In the meanwhile, on the geopolitical front, the 49-year-old Ukrainian man, Serhii Kuznietsov, arrived in Germany two days ago, after Italy's highest court approved his extradition later last week. That man is suspected of setting off explosions that damaged the EU Nord Stream pipelines in 2022. I clearly know that a very small number of blogging friends don't like such news, as they have been shaped to believe that Ukrainians can never be guilty parties. But we are talking about a German criminal court, not a Belarusian or Russian one. Not to mention that EU, UK and US' newspapers don't highlight this news as it should.
Have a nice weekend 🍁🍷🌰

Scandals that were once overlooked
The machinery of Ukraine war's support begins to slow. And Western media begins to expose Kyiv government's scandals that were once overlooked.
The more Western investigators and journalists uncover about corruption and mismanagement in Ukraine, the easier it becomes for Washington & EU to justify a gradual disengagement without admitting strategic defeat to Russia.
I don't forget 2022 Pope Francis' interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. He said "Transatlantic military alliance "barking" at Russia's door may have led to Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine". In other words, he said Ukraine war was perhaps somehow provoked.
The stupidity is that if someone were to understand how Russia-Ukraine war was provoked, he/she would be labelled as pro-Putin.

Valerij Zaluzhnyj
Just a few thoughts about money that we, EU's taxpayers, have been sending to Zelensky since 2022.
According to the German prosecutor's office, the Supreme Commander of Ukraine's armed forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyj, is behind the explosions on the Nord Steam 1 and 2 EU's gas pipelines (Wall Street Journal also reported this news early this week). This means there are evidence that President Zelensky, who blamed repeatedly the Russian government, knew that the Supreme Commander of Ukraine's armed forces had carried out the attack on the EU's pipelines in the Baltic Sea.
In other words, since 2022 we, EU's taxpayers, have been sending money to Zelensky, who orchestrated a terrorist attack on EU's energy infrastuctures.
Congratulations to the EU leaders who still continue to send money to Zelensky.

Gazans lives are not seen equivalent to others
Many multinational companies are interested in the two gas fields located 36 kilometers off the coast of Gaza. On the 23rd of March I already wrote a post about the de facto annexation of all Palestinian maritime areas. Israel is carrying out ethinic cleansing and starvation due to the fact that Tel Aviv's next step will the annexation of the whole Gaza strip.
Huge congrats to the Colombia's president, Gustavo Petro, who early this week announced that not a single Tonne of coal will be exported to Israel, as Tel Aviv's soldiers are sistematically dropping bombs on innocent people.
Colombians are not accomplices in genocide and ethnic cleansing. The EU, US, UK, India, China, etc. haven't done the same yet.

Pope Francis' thoughts about Ukraine-Russia war
Last week we saw Turkey's diplomatic engaged both with the United States and Russia. The next step will be made by the US president, as he is going to hold separate phone calls with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts.
As mentioned by Pope Francis in a 2022 interview, "NATO barking at Russia's door" caused the Kremlin to "react badly and unleash the conflict".
The interview was published by the Italian newpaper "Corriere della Sera" and other International news agencies.

Stealing Gaza's gas reserves
While Western governments continue to cover up Israeli crimes, Gaza is being starved and bombed again. Why are we, Westerners, allowing it? That's so simple: Gaza could be one of the richest places on hearth if the development of the gas field off its coast would begin. The gas could also benefit the Palestinians of the West Bank whose electricity is bought from Israel at high prices.
Unfortunately, in late October, 2023, three weeks after Israel began its military attack on Gaza, Tel Aviv's government issued 12 licences for gas exploration to six local and foreign companies. Obviously gas exploration off the Gaza coast violates international law. Easy to see that Israel is making a de facto annexation of Palestinian maritime areas.
Glad to hear that some countries around the world refuse to surrender and accept injustice.

An empty suit and a Napoleon syndrome
On this sunny Sunday Italian newspapers show that we, Europeans, are at a crossroads in Europe history because of the insanity of two leaders: Macron and Starmer. Europe should not drag themself in Ukraine war, rather they should focus on diplomatic solution at any cost. The Italian prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, isn't snubbing anybody. She and other EU leaders are looking after their own people and their own coutries. They are not interested in helping weapons-makers to become richer by creating a never ending war in East Ukraine.
I think some people pretend to forget that in 2021, before Russia's invasion, US & UK military drills took place three times on the Ukrainian ground, close to the Russian border. And now two European leaders want to do the same mistake. NATO troops in Ukraine for peace is an insane reasoning, as this was the reason the whole thing started.
And last but not least, since yesterday Russians have been advancing sharply in the Russian region of Kursk. Consequently, I am sorry to see that Ukraine's sole territorial bargaining counter will disappaer soon, unfortunately. That's why Zelensky made a great mistake last week when he didn't agree on Washington ceasefire proposal. Last week at Washington' oval office he, the comedian, still had bargaing power. At present I am afraid Ukrainians have no choice but to lose Russian occupied territories. He will be judged by his own people.

China's increasing power
| (Photo courtesy by Stefano Gazzano) |
Since early 2000s China has been increasing its economic power, technological strenght, and national defense capability. Not to mention of Beijing's significant role in global politics. For example, in 2024 China showed its considerable role of being a reliable peacemaker between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Billions $ dollars spent to maintain the establishment
During the last weekend more than 200,000 Romanian people gathered in Bucharest to stand up for their democracy. They demand their country back after the corrupt establishment canceled democratic elections. Romanians are demanding the resignation of Klaus Iohannis, who is illegally occupying the position of president of Romania, as well as that of the entire government.
The democratically elected president of Romania, Kalin Georgescu, is supported by more than 70% of the population. Along the streets of Bucharest there are only Romanian flags. No EU flags, No US flags and No Ukraine flags.
It easy to see that the establishment can't cancel elections because they don't like the candidate for whom people voted. That has nothing to do with democracy. It seems the same movie as we already saw when other democratically elected presidents in Europe were overthrown.
Obviously, the globalist media system, enslaved by the international corporate elite, hasn't mentioned that news. This is the end of democracy in the EU.

Trump-China relationship
It seems Trump have recently mellowed a little on China. The strongest economic and military power in East Asia is central to the business interests of the uncoming US President's friend, billionaire Elon Musk. The latter will also have a role in the administration as soon as Trump takes office.
(Photo courtesy by Stefano Gazzano)In the meanwhile, two weeks before Biden leaves office, The US State Department has informed Congress of a planned $ 8 billion weapons sale to Israel. The weapons package would add to a record of at least $ 17.9 in military aid that the US has provided Israel since the beginning of the war in Gaza on the 7th October, 2023.
Last year Professor Emeritus of political sociology at Sonoma State University, Peter Phillips, wrote: "It is in the self-interest of the weapons makers to lobby their governments for the continuation of high level of military spending on weapons, using deterrence as a false rationale".

Prolonged the war in Ukraine

42,409 Palestinians killed since Oct. 2023
42,409 Palestians killed in Israel's attack on Gaza Strip since October 2023.
Just a few figures could help us to understand why this genocide will not go to an end soon, unfortunately. The state of Palestine, which consists of the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip, was declared in 1988. Since then 146 countries have recognized Palestine as a sovereign state. Consequently, it's easy to see that many countries that haven't recognised yet Palestine as a state are in a subordinate position to the United States. And, as it is known, Washington's elite are sending weapons and missiles to Israel ... needless to mention that more Jews live in the US than in Israel and Jews represent more almost 10% of the population of New York state.
According to some NGOs, "The world cannot continue to stand by as Israel's government commits these atrocities". In addition to the "orrifying level of atrocity", since the beginning of October no food has been allowed in Northern Gaza area.
I took a photo of that war ship some months ago. Sorry if some blogger friends are not interested in the genocide taking place in that corner of the Middle East. I will try not to publish any more posts about this topic.
