I would like to thank those blogger friends who have shared their thought about political and economic interest that are fueling wars in East Europe and Middle East. Despite it is easy to understand that many people don't like to talk about this hot topic, I think it's time to write down a few thoughts about predators interested in starting and maintaining wars.
The main problem, in my opinion, is that the high level of weapons & missiles spending is strictly related to the fact that the military industrial complex is privatized in a widely known part of the world. In this perspective, it's no coincidence that private arms manufacturers sell most of their products to governments, whose policy-makers behave as puppets.
...there is plenty of money to be made with war!
ReplyDeleteThis is disastrously true!
DeleteYou hit exactly the point with your words. It is a tragedy and injustice that money is in the foreground. While people have to suffer and die to make other people rich through weapons.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your post.
I wish you a very good weekend :)
Completely agree with you, my friend. Actually, the more wars go on, the more richer people become richer.
DeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts!
Giorgio, the truth is that wars are a powerful business. This is undeniable!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the situation in Europe, the main problem is Russia! If it weren't for Putin and his sick, crazy aspirations, the situation would be calmer. Everywhere Moscow puts its dirty paws there are problems, danger and tragedies!
Giorgio, my friend, I salute you and I wish you a good weekend!
With regards to the Ukraine-Russia war in East Europe, I think a peace agreement may be signed when the new US president gets in office.
DeleteWe wait and see!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, dear Anna :-)
As always, I read only insults from Anna Нudyka, a journalist who finds information only on Wikipedia. Anna, Wikipedia is written by Americans, who have long since changed history.
DeleteThroughout time ... there has always been a lot of money made from war ... and it continues.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan

True! We're talking about more than $ 265.6 billion invested in the world's top ten armament manufacturers (source: Peter Phillips, Professor at Sonoma State University).
DeleteWealth really dominates human conflicts
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely true! :-(
DeleteLa guerra solo se mantiene y da por poder e intereses económicos. Te mando un beso y te deseo un buen fin de semana.
ReplyDeleteSame to you :-)
DeleteTerrible events are happening in Georgia now. The current president of the country tries to turn Georgia into a second Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteSalome Zurabishvili personally organizes riots on the streets of Tbilisi.
I do not understand why the president of Georgia, a woman who was born in France, studied in Paris, worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, was the ambassador of France, is the president of Georgia. I hope that she will be re-elected soon. There will be presidential elections in December.
The winning party "Georgian Dream" is not pro-Russian, but pro-Georgian. Members of this party talk about national Georgian problems, and not about American interests, like Salome.
If US & UK were to supply Georgia with vast amount of military equipment, such as tanks and missiles, it would be another provocation. I hope Georgia's people will not fall in the same trap as we see Ukraine.
Delete... not to mention of military exercises on Georgia's ground made by US & UK.
DeleteGiorgio, Ukrainian terrorists have arrived in Georgia. They aalso fuel the conflict.
DeleteWhy are Ukrainians getting into Georgia and even Syria? Ukraine has already turned into a terrorist organization.
You, Europeans, aren't you afraid that after Russia's victory, Ukrainian terrorists will roam the EU and kill everyone they meet on their way?
Ukraine will not join the EU & NATO in this decade. Russians disagree on this point. According to the peace agreement, which Trump could probably propose as soon as he gets in office, mainly consists of:
Delete1. Crimea, Luhansk & Donetsk will be under Moscow sovereignity and
2. Ukraine will be a neutral state, as we see Georgia, Moldova, Austria, etc. although
With regards to Georgia, I'm afraid US & UK will be able to push the Georgians into the same trap as we see poor Ukrainians. They will try to trigger a war in Georgia before Trump gets in office in late January next year.
The shipment of Western bought weapons will be coming soon.
The protesters in Georgia will then murder a number of people and the US & UK propaganda machine will blame the Tblilisi Government for this which will then start the ball rolling for a coup. We've watched this movie many times over.
US Investment management companies always need to trigger wars around the world, as they've invested many $ billion in weapons and missiles manufacturers. They would like to export their weapons again and again.
As soon as Trump gets in Office, investment management companies involved in weapons & missiles export will not make money with poor Ukrainian people anymore.
Thank you for this thoughtful post Aloha
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you was interest in this post :-) Thanks for the appreciation!
DeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts on this important topic. It's frustrating how the military-industrial complex fuels inequality and keeps wars going, all while the rich get richer. The question of "who's next" is really unsettling, and it shows how much we need to shift our focus toward peace and real solutions. Conversations like this are key to raising awareness and pushing for change.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Veronica. Your interesting comment reminds me President Eisenhower's 1953 speech about this topic: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed".
DeleteThank you for sharing your thoughts :-)
As I've said before I don't not agree with war. It is scary that people with so much money have so much power and invest in wars. Why not help people instead of slaughtering people? We do live in a crazy world now.
ReplyDelete... the US and other European countries, such as UK, France and Germany, have supplied Ukraine with vast amount of tanks, munitions and air defense capabilities valued at more than $ 120 billion.
DeleteIn addition to this, the World Bank estimates Ukraine will need $ 411 billion the rebuild after the war. Not to mention that BlackRock and other US' investment management companies were actively planning investments in Ukraine before the Russian invasion in February 2022. That's why the provocation was planned.
Giorgio, that really is scary. All that money on death, I am sure they could have used that for positive things like stopping the wars and helping people. I really don't like my country's attitude to things.
DeleteI don't understand why other people cannot see things the way we see it and put a stop to all this corruption. I have lost faith in humanity!! :-(
It's really sad, dear Ananka! Unfortunately there is also a big Italian company involved in weapons trade. Leonardo S.p.A. that's its name. It's mainly owned by the Italian government, but American investment management companies hold more than $ 1 billion share.
DeleteAs it is known, Italy is not a nuclear power. That's why it's extremely unreasonable the fact that the Italian company Leonardo S.p.A., which is mainly owned by the Italian government, is involved in the design, production and delivery of medium-range nuclear missiles for France.
Long ago, Dwight D. Eisenhower warned of the domination of the military industrial complex. We didn't heed his words, did we?
ReplyDeleteNo, we didn't! Global elite didn't understand the importance of those powerful words he said more than 70 years ago.
DeleteTe deseo una linda semana. Te mando un beso.
