Russian frozen assets

I'd like to share Hungarian President's point of view about Russia's frozen assets. Mr. Orban has just said that "there are two countries which are at war. It's not the EU, it's Russia and Ukraine, and somebody, the EU , would like to take away the money of one of the warring parties, and to give it to the other one. It's a marching into the war, so the Belgian Prime Minister is right. We should not do that."

The above photo shows the Hungarian Parliament building on the eastern bank of the Danube river. I took the picture of that neo-gothic landmark in April this year.

Greetings

  4. Giorgio, all these people are also at war with Russia. Since they're used to robbing African and Latin American countries, they decided to rob Russia too, which is why they started this war.
Viktor Orbán is a smart and courageous man! He's not pro-Russian, he's pro-Hungarian. Orban thinks about Hungary's well-being.
Giorgio, I'm lucky that the EU is led by losers like von der Leyen and Callas. Because everything they do ends in failure.

    1. Hello Irina,
you already know my point of view about who started and provoked this war.
The cultural and economic interconnection between Russia and the EU was becoming too powerful: the EU was purchasing very cheap Russian gas, and this gave the opportunity to increase EU's export mainly to Russia, India and China.
In addition, China was building many corridors through the Eurasian continent (i.e. Belt and Road, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, China-Iran corridor, etc.).
In this perspective, Washington political elite & billionaires are afraid the whole Eurasian continent may become too strong. That's why they always try to trigger wars on the Eurasian continent (Syria, Iran, Taiwan, Ukraine, Georgia, Afghanistan, etc.). The less peaceful the Eurasian continent, the more powerful Washinton hegemonic establishment.
Washington's plan mainly consists in fragmenting the Russian Federation. But it failed, thank god! Unfortunately, they succeeded in impoverish the EU. In this context, poor Ukrainian people were simply a Washington's tool (not to mention of Ukraine's natural resources).

Thank you for your comment :-)

    2. The EU and the UK have been disrupting all peace talks since 2014. They give money and weapons to Zelensky. They're also participants in the war!!!

  6. Hi Giorgio.
My friend, I'm going to publish a post on this very topic today (I'll want to, but I'll see if I can write a test today, because we're getting ready for Christmas at my house). I'll be brief: Russian assets should be allocated to arming Ukraine and rebuilding this independent, sovereign state after Putin's war (I might add that Putin can call his children "pigs" or Kabaeva, his wife/lover, who sold herself—there's no other way to call it—in exchange for money and position; there's a term for such people).
Giorgio, I send you my regards and wish you a good weekend!

    2. Learn Russian and translate correctly. President Putin didn't use that word.

  10. A very thought-provoking viewpoint, Giorgio.
The question of frozen assets is far from simple.
Whether one agrees or not, it’s important to consider the broader implications of such decisions.
    The Parliament photo is stunning!

    1. Hello, Veronica.
With regards to Russia's frezed assets, as it is known Russians' money is in EU's bank accounts. For example, there are also Russian assets in Swiss' bank accounts. And Russians have become the biggest investors in Dubai's real estate market and other countries. If a country doesn't give back money and assets to its foreign investors, it would lose its credibility. Swiss banks are known for security, protecting client money via strong regulations and depositor insurance. And other countries, such as Singapore, Norway, etc. have a high credibility too.

On the Ukraine-Russia front, when the Turkish peace agreement failed, in April 2022, I wrote many times that it was easy to understand that Western elite and billionaires wanted a never ending war in Ukraine. If he, the puppet Zelenski, had signed the Turkish peace agreement three years ago, Ukraine would not have lost one fifth of its territory. But on the 14th of March 2022 Joe Biden and Boris Johnson told Zelenski not to sign the Antalya peace agreement .
Nowadays, three years later, France and UK don't want Zelenski to sign Trump's peace agreement.
The problem is that the French government owns more than 26 percent of Thales Group, which is a global technology leader in Defence. That multinational company offers products and services for military. Thales Group's main investors are US' management investment multinational companies, such as BlackRock, Vanguard, J.P. Morgan, Capital, State Street and Fidelity Investment. In this perspective, Thales Group produces thousands of advanced missiles at their facility in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Those missiles will be delivered to Ukraine.

Thank for sharing your comment, Veronica.
