The beginning of Spring

Spring has arrived in the Northern Emisphere, although the weather is still cloudy here down on the 42nd parallel.

The beginning of Spring often indicates equinox has occurred, warming weather and blooming flowers. I hope it would also indicate the end of the neo-colonial war in Iran.

On the Strait of Hormuz front, I've just heard that the "Epstein coalition" (US & Israel) doesn't want to do a cease fire with Iran. In addition, the two members of the Espstein coalition call Europe countries "cowards" over lack of support for their war on Iran. And I think that's a good news, as it means there are some people in Europe who reason, as they refused to allow their soil to attack Iran.
I am so glad to hear that France and Italy have opened talks with Iran seeking to negotiate a deal to guarantee safe passage of their ships through the Strait of Hormuz. China, Russia and Britain have already done the same. The US and Israel are increasingly isolated.

Have a lovely Spring 🌺🌻🌼

  1. Hello, Giorgio! Spring is my favorite season. Spring has come to us too. The snow has started to melt. If it's still chilly in the evenings, it's getting warmer and warmer during the day.
Every day, more and more Iranian children are dying. The new Iranian leader is said to be seriously injured. I hope he's alive. Trump and Netanyahu decided they would crush Iran in 2-3 days and immediately replace the government. But the deaths of little girls, the attacks on schools and hospitals, and the assassination of the Iranian Supreme Leader have united and unified the people.
There is no longer any opposition in Iran; no one will talk to those who kill children.

    1. No one should talk to those who kill children, I agree on this. They wanted to kill those 167 Iranian girls, as US Tomahawk utilizes technologies such GPS to strike with pinpoint accuracy.
How can people be so indifferent to these unjustified crimes? If there weren't this disgusting double standard, they (the "Epstein coalition", Trump and Netanyahu) must be prosecuted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity.

    2. Trump and Netanyahu, two old men born in 1946 and 1949, whose lives will soon end due to natural causes, dream of dragging our entire planet into their graves with them.

    3. True, they clearly want to destroy the world.
It seems we are already fighting WW3, as there are US, Ukraine, Israel and Arab states (Qatar, AEU, etc.) on the one side and Russia, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, China, North Korea and Belarus on the other side.

    4. In Russia, political scientists also say that the US attacked Iran to distract Americans from the Epstein case. Why did Trump do that? It only means that Trump is one of those who raped and murdered children on Epstein's island.
Trump succeeded in Venezuela, and he decided to carry out a blitzkrieg in Iran as well. But Iran is a completely different country. Maduro was betrayed in Venezuela, so he was guarded by Cubans. Because of domestic betrayal, the Americans managed to kidnap the Venezuelan president.

    5. Irina, an alternative explanation could be that Trump is involved in the Epstein case. And that's why he's being blackmailed by Netanyahu, who is forcing him to attack Iran, which is Israel's main rival.

In addition to this, firstly, stocks of US' weapons makers, such as Lookheed Martin, Raytheon and Northrop Gumman, have increased sharply since Trump & Israel began to attack Iran.

And, secondly, the attack on Iran is compatible with US elite/billionaires' global and hegemonic thinking, considering that Teheran is China's main oil supplier. As we saw in January, the Americans attacked Venezuela, which is another China's mail oil supplier.

History is important for learning from past mistakes: in 1941 the United States' decision to stop selling oil to Japan was the primary economic trigger for the attack on Pearl Harbor.

    6. ... in the meanwhile, Italy prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, reaffirms Italy's non-participation in Israel-US war against Iran.

  5. Nice photos Giorigo. Happy Spring :-D We've had nice weather the last few days, long may it continue :-D

The sooner people stand up to these 2 fools, the better. And they should be punished for killing all these girls at the school bombing. Shocking. :-(

    1. Two days ago I met a British family from Southampton, and they said the same about nice weather in the UK in March. I hope you'll enjoy it again, Ananka ☀️

Is Trump blackmailed by Netanyahu (because of Epstein files), or is the war a diversion from Epstein ❓ ... I also hope they both will be punished.

    2. That is a very good point you raise Giorgio, perhaps it is a diversion from Epstein...wouldn't surprise me in the least!

So after a few days of good weather we are back to rain, rain and more rain. That's Scotland for you haha! You must come back and I can show you around Glasgow :-D

    3. Yes, Ananka, there are several allegations that Trump sexually assaulted underage girls. Trump is mentioned thousands of times in the Epstein files and there's credible evidence that he committed crimes. How many more people have to die before this monster and his cabinet are arrested. Trump needs to be impeached and put in prison.

Let's hope there are positive negotiations with Iran for many countries.

    1. mmm ... I'm afraid US' elite/billionaires and their yellow haired puppet don't want to negotiate. They want Iranian oil, gas and natural resources.
It's not a coincidence the fact that they, Americans, have been "conquering" the countries that supply oil to china: Syria, Libya, Venezuela, Iran. Who will be next? That's a global neo-colonial thinking.
Thanks for sharing your comment, Margaret.
Have a lovely Autumn in the Southern Emisphere :-)

  12. Given how narrow the Strait of Hormuz is so exposed that land-based rocket fire could easily strike passing vessels. The situation feels like a looming disaster.

    1. China relies heavily on Iranian oil. That's also a war against Beijing. And the attack on Venezuela two months ago had the same purpose.
I have no choice but to think that's United States global and hegemonic neo-colonial thinking.

  14. I share your hope that this season can bring not just flowers, but also a shift toward peace.
It’s good to see some countries choosing talks over escalation-- maybe that’s the real sign of renewal we need. 🌸
Have a great week ahead, Giorgio!

  15. Hi Giorgio!
I love spring too! The greenery around us, the blooming and green trees and shrubs, the fragrant flowers, the wonderful birdsong – the most beautiful music to the ears!!!
    P.S.1.
Giorgio, there's a 'Ferris wheel' in your photo – there was one at the Christmas market in my Dąbrowa Tarnowska too, but it was smaller. I hope we'll have an Easter market and a 'Ferris wheel' too.
    P.S.
Giorgio, speaking of the weather, it's similar here. After a few warmer days, it's chilly again and the sky is cloudy...

  16. Hallo Giorgio,
keine Seite kann in einem Krieg wirklich gewinnen. Die Bevölkerung ist immer der Verlierer. Leider ist das Trump und anderen Politikern egal. Wir können nur hoffen, dass bald ein Weg für Frieden gefunden wird.

  18. Ah, nothing like the first signs of spring to remind us of how the world keeps turning, no matter the troubles we face. It’s heartening to see some nations still trying to talk things through instead of rushing into conflict. Here’s hoping diplomacy wins out, and we can all enjoy the season without the shadow of war hanging over us. Wishing you a peaceful spring filled with blooming flowers and calmer days ahead
