On this warm and sunny Wednesday, a large white sailing ship docked at the port of Civitavecchia. It gives a different image of the port, as it seems the picture was taken one century ago. But it isn't the case. I took it this morning.
Meanwhile it isn't raining, and we're worried as we can see dried grass in our environs and countryside without rain for a long time.
...I love seeing the ships!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, but the ship is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteche meraviglia!

The port is so pretty as is the land. I know the dryness is a worry. Here we have fires in my state and of course California is on fire bringing the smoke up my way. How I would love to be by the calm water with a cold drink. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI pray that the rains will come soon.
ReplyDeleteOn the contrary, we've been having wet weather almost daily over here in our corner of the world.
Have a great weekend, Giorgio.
Giorgio friend I’m very scared! Russian shit! Giorgio you forgive me, but I cann’t say about these people from Russia say! Russian wildlife attacked the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant site twice today. Ukrainian corporation Enerhoatom said there was damage to the nitrogen-oxygen station. It threatens to leak hydrogen and release radioactive substances into the atmosphere.
ReplyDelete"Before the shelling, representatives of (Russian state-owned corporation) Rosatom left the facility in a hurry. They probably knew that an attack was being prepared," the - The statement said.
Oh no! I have heard yesterday in the evening about the attack to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The mother of a friend of mine live there. I'll ask her! The biggest concerns is the disposal of nuclear waste. If Russian were to hit it, hazardous materials would affect humans, animals and plant life. Sorry to hear about the release of radioactive substances. Actually Russians wanted to hit the nuclear power plant, due to the fact that Rosatom's officers left the town. This means that they knew, as you mentioned!
DeletePlease, Anna, let me know other information.
I do like that big ship ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
