I have just come back from Naples where I spent one week from 30th December to7th January.
In the meanwhile, on the geopolitic front, in the first week of the new year we have continued to hear of Israel's bombardment on Gaza and Taiwan's provocation. But it seems there is a good news, as Denmark's government has decided not to transfer the promised F-16 fighters to Ukraine. The fact that Western equipment and weapons will not shipped to Kyiv is now the main topic in many foreign media.
My sister sent me another picture taken in the early morning. I like to share it. On the right side of the picture there is the island of Capri.
Stunning photos and I like the photo your sister took that is stunning. Yes one week of the new year gone already!
ReplyDeleteHello, Ananka!
DeleteMay you enjoy the 2nd week of this new year 😊
...I love the modern train.
ReplyDeleteI'll show other trains soon.
DeleteThe streetscape and the sunset are amazing to see
ReplyDeleteactually its colour is unusual. Thank you for the appreciation!
DeleteHi Giorgio!
ReplyDeleteI agree with another opinion that the photo sent by your sister is stunning!
One of my dreams is to go to Naples someday. I have been to Italy, but in Naples I unfortunately haven't been :(
Poland, meanwhile, was attacked by a nasty winter. I'm the most angry, because the spruce trees in my garden already had buds and flowers sprouted in the garden.
My thermometer showed a few minutes ago -16 degrees... :(
Giorgio, my friend I salute you!
Hello, Anna!
DeleteSorry to hear your country has got cold. I think the coldest months are January and February. In Italy March is also cold, but it is less cold than Poland.
I hope you will plan to visit Naples soon, my dear friend.
Enjoy the rest of the 2nd week of the new year.
Ten una buena semana. Me enamore de la ultima foto. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it!
Deletefoto bellissime!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Olga 😊
DeleteNaples is a beautiful city! I like your photos very much!
ReplyDeleteYou can visit Naples whenever you want, Irina. My sister run a guest house there. You could stay there, as it is located close to the main metro (tube or subway).

Have a nice time, Irina!
The magic of the photos clashes with the news of the massacres in Gaza and around the world
ReplyDeleteIt seems the two things are strictly related, as the red sky we can see in the photo reminds us the bloody sky we see in Gaza, Ramallah, Donesk, Luhansk, etc. ... I hope we will not see the same sky in Taiwan.
DeleteHave a nice time, Daniele.
Naples is so pretty. I think I told you the home of my ancestors. The photo your sister sent is so pretty. Hope all is well with you.
ReplyDeleteYes, Nicole. I remember you already told me about your ancestors from Naples.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed my sisters' photo of Naples.
Take care!
Stunning photos, Giorgio. Your sister's shot is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI hope to visit Naples someday.
Happy Thursday!
I hope you will, visit Naples soon, Veronica.
DeleteEnjoy the rest of this week.
Te deseo un buen fin de semana. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteIs incredible the beautiful architecture of this ancient city in Italy. It is a very wonderful and nice place.
ReplyDeleteThere are many Spanish architectural jewels in Naples, due to the fact that during the 16th and 17th centuries, the southern part of Italy, including the Kingdom of Naples and the Kingdom of Sicily, was under Spanish control.
DeleteGlad to hear you enjoyed the town where I was born or grew up.
Have a nice weekend!
Thank you for sharing your photographs that you took around Naples.
ReplyDeleteWhat a colourful sky in the photograph your sister took.
I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend.
My good wishes.
All the best Jan
