My son has just sent me two pictures from NY

Just two pictures taken this week by my son, who has been visiting NY since 1st January. He has just sent me the two pictures.

It seems the weather wasn't too cold this week in NY, although the picture above shows a cloudy sky. He will be back in Italy on 9th January.

Happy new year to all the blogging community :-)

  2. Hi Giorgio! Beautiful photos :)
I talk about the weather I’m very happy, because in Poland it’s sunny and warm for a few days! The temperature is around 10 degrees. On New Year's Eve and New Year's Day it was 17 degrees (Saturday night it was 13014 too). Giorgio I will tell you that I saw in my garden yesterday that they are growing tulips already!!!
Giorgio I wish you all the best and God's Blessings in the New Year 2003!!!

    1. Thank you, Daniele :-)
I have been in Naples since 30th December ... my mother lives there. So glad to see that many tourists, from all Europe, spent New Year's Eve there in Naples. It seems people who live in Naples have become aware of their landmarks and historical buildings.
May you have a Happy New Year too :-)

  7. Naples is a very beautiful city, Giorgio! I see that your son was in New York.
I already wrote this comment to you yesterday, but it went to SPAM. You need to look at Comment Spam (it's a black triangle above the comments on the Blogger page. But first you need to open the "Comments" folder to see it).

Last night I watched a program about Adriano Celentano on TV. This actor and singer is very popular in Russia.

    1. Thanks for your kind words about my born town, Irina :-) ... I'll send you other pictures of Naples through email. I have been running and walking through the old Naples' neighborhoods since 1st January. Now I'm back home, in Civitavecchia (close to Rome).
If you were to visit Naples, I would show you some unusual places and corners of the historical neighborhoods of the town.

I would have never thought that Celentano, the Italian singer and actor, was so known in your country. Glad to hear that info.

      Have a nice weekend, Irina
