Peace mission

Maybe it's so simple, but I don't understand. On Monday, 15 May, Ukrainian president went to Britain, as London government promised to give Ukraine hundreds more missiles and attack drones. The Ukrainian president says such weapons are needed to protect Ukraine from Russian air strikes.

This may change the course of the war. Maybe don't. We don't know. But this certainly means that, firstly, the UK and other countries are the staunch allies of Kyiv, and,  secondly, we don't know how long such Western powers could fund the war

At the same time, there is a great concern among UK and other Western allies, as they are reluctant to provide Kyiv with weapons that can reach Russian territory. Not to mention of armor-piercing rounds containing depleted uranium.

In the meanwhile, Russian and Ukrainian governments have agreed to meet an "African leaders peace mission", which includes South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Senegal and Republic of Congo. Consequently, I think it's easy to see which countries and governments aren't interested in peace deal and cease fire agreement between the two belligerents.

We wait and see!

  1. Hello Giorgio!
My friend you let me write I about weapons, but about an interesting event. A Russian rocket (6 meters and has the ability to carry a nuclear payload) fell in Poland. What turned out when its parts were found? Really Giorgio isn’t a joke!!! The rocket's warhead was made of ...concrete! :)

    1. Hello Anna, I've heard that in early May, Polish Authorities reported that the wreckage of a Russian Kh-55 cruise missile was found near the city of Bydgoszcz ... maybe Russians wanted to "confuse" Ukrainian air defense with an old missile.

  2. Hello Giorgio! Zelenskiy needs shells not to defend Ukraine, but to kill more Donbass residents, which he has been doing successfully since 2014.

Russia blew up warehouses with depleted uranium in Ukraine. The explosion looked like a nuclear mushroom. After that, the level of radiation in Poland increased. Nuclear dust from Ukraine ended up in Poland and other countries.
Are you sure that a Russian rocket fell in Poland?

    1. Russia claims a radioactive cloud is drifting toward Western countries after Russians bombed Ukrainian depots, including weapons with depleted uranium. It seems such weapons were delivered by the UK.
But I don't know if this news is true. How they, Russians, measured the cloud's radioactivity?

With regards to the Russian rocket, which fell in Poland, I think an air defence missile was fired by Ukrainian forces at an incoming Russian missile during an attack on Ukrainian cities and facilities located close to Poland's border.

Thank you for sharing your point of view, Irina!
      Have a nice weekend :-)

    2. The Russian military knows what kind of explosion happens when nuclear shells explode. And our meteorologists recorded the direction of the wind that day and saw how the radioactive cloud flew to Poland and other countries.

    3. I think this is not enough. An increase in radiation levels has to be registered.
If the level of radiation were to increase in West Ukraine and neighboring countries, Poland's authorities would know such information. Probably, an increase in radiation hasn't been detected yet by Poland's top officials.

    4. Secondly, this uranium fire was put out by robots, not by people, as it was before. Russian satellites were able to record the level of radiation.
I am sure that the Polish authorities are aware of this, but they are silent so that there is no panic in Poland. Polish President Andrzej Duda will never put forward claims to Great Britain and even Ukraine. Duda does not care about the inhabitants of his country.

    6. On May 20, Russia liberated Artemovsk! HOORAY! HOORAY! HOORAY!
Now no one will call this Russian city Bakhmut anymore. The city is named after a Russian revolutionary.

Soon we will win! Because our Jesus Christ is with us!

    7. Today I listened to the speech of the Romanian senator Diana Shoshoaca. She said that the Polish environmental agency had recorded high levels of radiation in the city of Lublin. Since the wind brought uranium dust after the explosion in the Ukrainian city of Khmelnitsky.
The senator is very worried about Romania. And in Poland everyone is in hysterics. Russian experts have learned about the level of radiation and doubt that depleted uranium exploded, but they are talking about a real nuclear weapon.

    8. I don't undersand why Slovakia and Poland's officiers haven't been talking about this topic. I think uranium dust could also affect Belarus' territory.

Thank you for sharing such info, Irina!

    9. The distance from the city of Khmelnitsky to Poland is less than to Belarus. The direction of uranium dust also depends on the direction of the wind. And the puppet regimes of Slovakia and Poland will always remain silent. The Anglo-Saxons forbade them to open their mouths.
Thank you, Giorgio, for your kindness!

    10. The Anglo-Saxons do not feel sorry for the Poles and Slovaks. After all, they are Slavs, which means they are not people. The main thing is that nuclear weapons will not be detonated on the territory of "Great" Britain. The governments of Slovakia and Poland also do not care about the inhabitants of their countries. They were ordered to be silent, and they are silent.

Zelensky doesn’t give a damn about the people of Ukraine either. His wife and children live in the safe UK.

    1. True! But while we were talking about peace agrements and cease fire, there were rumors that some Western countries were about to approve the transfer of about 70 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. The USA, the UK, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark will participate in the transfer in one form or another, while Italy refused to participate in the project.

    1. Italy can't continue to send money and weapons to Kyiv ... there are 36.000 people displaced by the floods and at least 14 people died in Northern Italy ... Italy's members of government have to care about the inhabitants of their country.

    1. Exactly! Only Pope Francis and China's president have been talking about peace deal until now. This means USA & UK are strongly interested in a neverending war in East Ukraine.

  7. A never ending war. All signs point to more misery with no end in sight.
    Praying for peace in Ukraine.

    1. While Ukrainians and Russians continue to fight such never ending war, as you mentioned, an increasingly shrinking pool of mega-corporations are making a lot of money. And as soon as the war goes to an end, those omnivores predators will continue to exploit poor Ukrainian people. Ukraine President, Zelenskyy, has already held a video conference meeting with Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, one of the world's leading investment managers ... they will be structuring the reconstruction projects in Ukraine.

Glad to see you are interested in such important topic, Veronica.
      Have a nice weekend!
