Saint Peterburg's Russia-Africa summit
Russian President promises grains, debt write-off, as Russia's government seeks Africa allies. Moscow also promotes joint fight against global "neocolonialism".
African leaders, who are attending a summit in Saint Peterburg, agree on this.
Hello, Giorgio! Our President Vladimir Putin always keeps his promises. Russia has always helped African countries. The Soviet Union built bridges, roads, power plants... The grain deal lasted for a whole year, but the richest European countries brought wheat to their countries and sold it. Africa received only 3% of the grain! Russia gives free grain to the poorest countries in Africa.
Many Western countries had colonies in Africa. Why don't they want to help their former colonies? I heard speeches at the summit of African leaders. Many leaders spoke French. This means that these countries were colonies of France. France had too many colonies, didn't it?
In Russia. delegations from 49 countries arrived. Only 5 countries were not present. And the EU was going to do harm here too, preventing Africans from coming to Russia. Africa has always been on the side of Russia.
France and England were the two main Africa's colonizers.
With regards to the ongoing crossroad, foreign minister of Uganda, Jeje Odongo, recently said: "We were colonized, and we forgive those who colonized us. Now the colonizers are asking us to be enemies with Russians, who never colonized us. Is that fair? Not for us: their enemies are their enemies and our friends are our friends".
Exactly, Veronica! For instance, France and United States have been buying a kilo of uranium at $ 10,000 since 2017 while it is sold at $ 70,000 in the world market ... Russia and China are now bidding at $ 50,000
Hi Giorgio. I will indulge in a "little" mischief: it was great to see pictures of Putn "in his house" waiting for the Egyptian president :) Yes, Western countries had colonies, but Putin doesn’t want to "help" out of the goodness of his heart! He’s a canny fox! He plays "help" to help himself. Giorgio I wish you a good Sunday!
I saw the picture which you mentioned, Anna. But I noticed that Indian, Chinese, and Arabic media didn't mentioned that Putin had been left waiting by a foreign president as part of a summit.
Putin's proposal is politically and strategically significant and if African countries were to consider it interesting as well as reliable and sincere the proponent, I think that EU and USA would fine themselves in trouble economically speaking and also on a strictly political level.
At the time when the Russia-Africa summit was working, a coup d'état took place in the country of Niger. Niger is a former colony of France. The president planted by the French was overthrown. Yesterday I heard on the news that Macron was going to send troops to Niger. Macron cannot restore order in his country. He does not need to get into other countries. Macron is a real cannibal. If Niger asks for help from Russia, we will send the Wagner group to help.
How can Africa, which has so much wealth, become the poorest continent in the world today? ... Just expelled French troops from Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 and banned uranium exports to France and the US. In addition, alliance between Niger and its neighboring countries Burkina Faso and Mali.
This century, Africa will develop itself with its own resources.

...European countries sure screwed African countries by colonizing them.
ReplyDeleteAfrica has been abused since many centuries by Portugal, France, England, etc.
DeleteAfrica is indentured to other superpowers in the world
ReplyDeleteTrue! Some world powers are trying to get their hands on Africa's resources.
DeleteWhen it comes to politics, "help" always comes with a hidden agenda.
DeleteHappy Monday, Giorgio!

Who prevents Poland from helping African countries? But Poland prefers to help Ukraine killing children and adults.
