After 15 months of war in Gaza, a ceasefire was achieved. That's a great news! The agreement has been ratified by Israeli government early this morning after meeting for more than six hours. Israel-Hamas ceasefire will take effect on Sunday morning.
I don't know if the above photo is a fake. It shows Israeli soldiers, all women, taking a selfie close to the rubble's battlefield.
Anyway, the fact that Israel and Hamas have agreed on a cease fire is a great news!
...I'm holding my breath.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear such a good news :-)

Wish you a very nice weekend
I hope this is the first step.
DeleteThank you :-) Same to you!
Hi Giorgio. Of course this is very good news :) but, I will tell you an interesting news about Benjamin Netanyahu. Ahead of us is the anniversary of the celebration of the liberation of the Auschwitz German concentration camp. A few days ago, the Polish president asked the prime minister to decide that, if Benjamin Netanyahu comes to Poland, that he shouldn't be detained. There is a consensus that in this situation he will be a free person.
ReplyDeleteGiorgio, I wish you a good evening and a beautiful Sunday!
Dear Anna, with regards to your interesting news, Italy defense minister, Antonio Tagliani (that's his name), this week said that if Benjamin Netanyahu came to Italy, he wouldn't be arrested. In this perspective, the question is: would the Italian defense minister do the same if Vladimir Putin came to Italy ? ... Unfortunately, I'm afraid we are talking about double standard.
DeleteThank you for sharing such an interesting news, Anna!
Take care :-)
We can only hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteWe wait, hope and see.

ReplyDeleteNot sure about that photo – these days it's hard to tell what's real and what's not.
Hopefully, this is the start of something positive for everyone affected.
Happy Monday, Giorgio!
You're right, Veronica! Nowadays it is not easy to distinguish true information from false information.
DeleteI am glad that the hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas has begun. But I also want to know when the hostages kidnapped by the Ukrainian Nazis in the Kursk region will return home.
