The above photo shows the mural made by the Dutch-Italian street-artist Jorit Agoch. The mural is dedicated to Ilaria Cucchi, who lost her brother Stefano under terrible circumstances. Her brother suffered a violent beating by Italian police officers (Carabinieri) in Rome. In Naples, Jorit Agoch dedicated a Mural to Ilaria Cucchi
I am going to visit thermal bath complexes in Budapest in the next days. That's why I will be out of blogging for a while.
...this lovely mural is haunting. Enjoy your time away.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tom!
DeleteThey think they can get away with it! Happening all over the world, yet many, many criminals are free and nothing is done about them. It is a good mural, it shows her pain I think. Shocking way to lose her brother.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break Giorgio :-D
I agree with you, Ananka. Many criminals are still free, unfortunately.
DeleteThank you!
It's even more painful and despicable when they're the ones who should be looking out for our safety.
ReplyDeleteThe mural is wonderful, especially for what it represents.
Enjoy!
Very nice mural.
ReplyDeleteGiorgio I salute you!
Sad story, but a beautiful mural. You should join in with FFO this week with this post.

ReplyDeleteEl mural es muy lindo. Te da pena la historia. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to Hungary? I thought you were going to the Pope's funeral. Pope Francis was a wonderful man.
ReplyDeleteI really love the mural, sad thing that happened and we down here didn't hear about what happened, but I will look it up. The lady has a beautiful face.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Budapest
A heartbreaking story, yet the mural is incredibly moving and beautifully done—such a poignant tribute.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a relaxing time at the thermal baths in Budapest—sounds like a perfect pause.
A painful story. So much suffering that was unjustly committed. The picture is very touching.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful time in Budapest. If you take photos of the thermal baths, I'm really looking forward to them. I've only seen and heard good things about them so far.
Very touching 😢 💙
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this mural.
ReplyDeleteHave a good trip to Budapest.
