Cute small birds

There were many small cute birds inside the terminal building of Budapest international airport.

Some trees were placed inside the passengers hall at the Budapest international airport, thanks to a strock of genius of Zoltán Tima, the architect who designed the SkyCourt (that's the name of that steel, glass and concrete building).
I noticed those trees were giving shelter to small birds, which were fed by the crumbs left by travellers.

I have never seen before small birds living indoor with human beings.

Have a nice 2° weekend of May

    1. Not easy to make a birds habitat in a building, as we have to provide food, water, and shelter by planting native plants.

  2. That's a beautiful example of how thoughtful architecture can unexpectedly support urban wildlife—turning an airport hall into a small refuge for birds.

  3. What a charming observation! It's wonderful to see how nature can blend so seamlessly with modern architecture. The trees in the terminal must have created a peaceful atmosphere, offering a pleasant surprise for travelers. It’s a gentle reminder of the beauty of small, simple things in life, even in bustling airports. Have a lovely weekend too.

  4. Hi Giorgio!
Very interesting is this idea with the trees! I speaking of birds, I love their singing. It's wonderful to sit in the evening (when it's a warm evening, of course) on the balcony and hear those wonderful sounds!
My friend, I salute you and I wish you a beautiful, sunny weekend!
Unfortunately, I have rain today :(

    1. Actually, I've heard birds singing on the balcony or in the park, but not in the passengers hall of an international airport.

  13. OK is it just me. Here in the US birds fly into businesses all the time and can't get out. Our local grocery store has birds flying in the rafters all summer. Nice post today.

  14. Actually, it’s not at all uncommon ( at least in my experience) to see birds in airport terminals. Doors are constantly opening so it’s easy for them to get inside where they find abundant food.
