The aim of this blog is to try to highlight some challenges facing the world, such as crowded megacities, poor living conditions, water shortages, dangerous waste disposal, and arrogant powers behind warmongering.

Pigeons on a cold morning
This morning, on a cold Wednesday (2°C), many pigeons stood on the power line while they were enjoying the sun.
It seems that all electrons stay in power line and out of the birds body.
Hi Giorgio :) My friend, I see that you see prettier birds than I do :) For the last few days there are a lot of crows and rooks in front of my house in the morning. The only nicer ones are a pair of tits having a nest at my neighbors. They are perched on the power lines. Unfortunately, this year there were no guillemots, I didn't see any tits and sparrows :( I talking about the weather in Poland last week the temperature was more than 20 degrees Celsius in the sun, last night was -2, during the day in the sun more than 15 and sunshine :) I'm happy! Giorgio, I salute you! I wish you a good evening and Wednesday!
Hello Irina, I've just noticed that some your previous posts were in my blogger's spam folder. I don't understand why this happens 😠 Thank you for your comment, as it allows the opportunity to look for other blogging friend's comments in the spam folder.
This is your last post, which I have just found in my spam folder:
"Hello, Giorgio! There are also many pigeons in our city. In many countries of the world it is forbidden to feed pigeons."
What a lovely observation! Pigeons sure know how to find the best spots to stay warm on a chilly morning. It’s always fascinating how they can perch on power lines without a worry—nature’s little marvels at work! 😊

I think 20 degrees celsius in January is unusual in your country.
DeleteEnjoy the rest of this week, dear Anna :-)
Unless the birds are grounded (earthed) they are safe.
ReplyDeleteTrue, there are many predators on the ground.
DeleteLindas aves. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day :-)
DeleteThey seem happy to be sitting/perched there.
